The Center for Contemporary Printmaking’s 13th Biennial International Miniature Print Exhibition opens on Thursday, December 16 at with a breakfast reception at the Greenwich Arts Council. This juried biennial print competition and exhibition is limited to works that are no more than four square inches.
Since its inception in 1997, the Miniature Print Exhibition has showcased the works of artists worldwide with renowned print curators and collectors serving as jurors. This year’s juror was Christina Weyl, an independent art historian. CCP received 568 prints from 227 artists with works arriving from 22 countries, including representation by artists in 27 states. Weyl selected 128 works by 122 artists representing 15 countries and 21 states.
This exhibition is possible with the collaboration of the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in Norwalk.
